@Melanated Goddess It is all love sis.😏❤️#IEforlife, lol. I wasn’t coming for you personally. And I’m not asking anyone to hide how they feel about anything. We just have to remember that somebody on the other side of this screen is reading this. How many times have people said things that have caused us to doubt ourselves? When you are bold enough to put yourselves on front street you are opening yourself to criticism. I get it and know it. I critique people, but what I won’t do is blast it in the open. I understand that everybody is not going to get it or care for that matter. Simply put If you can’t say anything good, don’t say anything at all. That’s all. Or at least think of a tactful way of saying. I know you understand what I’m saying.

@Danielle Gary You remind me of that person that if your best friend slaps the hell out you, you would be okay with it because they have been the best friend ever. She stated she wants to be a professional singer the opportunity given dropped the ball no professional in the music business will look at this and say hell yea where is she and find the background singers to. Your feelings are clearly involved. I have been a lover of really good music since I was a kid this was awful and you know it. Background need to step up this was there time to give her there best and they didn’t PERIOD.

@Creepy People This is my last response on the matter. The band and background singers aren’t her band and background singers. They have been the house band for the last few Karaoke nights. The musicians and singers are rather talented musicians and singers. Many of whom I know personally and have had the pleasure of singing and playing with. However anyone else responds is cool. Was this the absolute best performance? No, and I don’t want it to be confused as if I am saying it was. However I won’t let a bad night of bad sound be a misrepresentation of very talented singers and musicians. It was an opportunity for her! And in my “humble” opinion, overall she displayed a good deal of showmanship and interaction with the crowd, while displaying her vocal ability. When the band and background is “off” can you continue being unbothered and performing at your greatest potential in that moment? I felt she did. Again everyone is entitled to their own opinions. You can voice them. But remember there is a way of doing EVERYTHING. The difference between a critique and criticism is that a critique comes with a remedy or solution. Am I standing up for the home team? D@%# right. I said what I said.
